New CASA Volunteers Take Oath to Advocate for Children in Abuse and Neglect Cases
Five new Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) were sworn in by Judge John Wolf to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Advocate Spotlight: Jenn Nydahl
Jenn Nydahl has lived in the Gorge for five years and completed her training as a CASA volunteer in April 2025, when she was sworn in as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. Her motivation for volunteering came from witnessing upheaval around the world and feeling powerless. She realized that becoming a CASA volunteer advocate was a meaningful way to take action and make a positive difference in the life of a child.
