Volunteering Comes in all Shapes & Sizes

Volunteers are the backbone of the work that Columbia Gorge CASA does to advocate for children experiencing foster care in Hood River, Sherman, and Wasco Counties. We are so grateful for the time that our team of volunteer advocates give in order to lift up these children's voices.

Advocacy is not the only way to volunteer for CASA. Over the last several weeks, community members have volunteered their time towards supporting CASA's mission in a variety of unique ways that you can read about below. If you ever want to volunteer your time to support CASA's mission in any capacity feel free to email outreach@gorgecasa.org.

Hannah Mapes owner of StudioFit is hosting Zumba classes to raise funds for CASA. One hundred percent of proceeds raised from the studio's Wednesday night classes in May will be given to CASA. StudioFit's certified instructors offer barre, strength, yoga, dance and personal training. Small classes sizes offer personalized guidance and awesome community vibes. LEARN MORE

Curtis Homes & Jeff Hardman are working on building a playhouse to be raffled off to support CASA's mission. Tickets to win this one of a kind playhouse will be available soon. Curtis Homes is a groundbreaking local construction company that strives to build beautiful homes and meet the construction needs in the Columbia Gorge and Central Oregon.

Jennifer Hart has created CASA's new website that you are currently viewing. This beautiful website is a great tool to help share CASA's mission and recruit additional volunteer advocates to serve the children our community.

CASA's Board of Directors also volunteer their time through providing oversight, helping to fundraise, and being ambassadors for the program. Most recently, the board members raised awareness on CASA's mission at The Northwest Cherry Festival in The Dalles.

REACH OUT TO OUTREACH@GORGECASA.ORG IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE YOUR TALENTS AND SKILLS FOR CASA.
