Columbia Gorge CASA is thrilled to announce the winner of this year’s highly anticipated Playhouse Raffle: Ticket W192!
The winning ticket was drawn on August 29 by Amanda Evans, Director of Adventist Health Columbia Gorge Foundation, the presenting sponsor of the raffle. The drawing took place during a memorable evening at Tierra De Lobos Winery, where community members gathered for a special Studio Fit yoga fundraiser—an event filled with movement, connection, and purpose in support of CASA’s mission to advocate for abused and neglected children in Hood River, Sherman, and Wasco Counties.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of ticket buyers and sponsors, the fundraiser raised more than $15,000 to support Columbia Gorge CASA’s advocacy for children—making this year’s raffle the most successful to date.
At the heart of the raffle was a one-of-a-kind playhouse, valued at $6,000, designed and built by students in the Advanced Wood and Construction class at Hood River Valley High School, with materials generously donated by Tum-A-Lum Lumber.
“This fundraiser shows how powerful our community can be when we come together for a cause,” said Christopher Janetzko, Executive Director of Columbia Gorge CASA. “We’re incredibly grateful for the students who built the playhouse, the businesses that sponsored the raffle, and every person who bought a ticket or showed up to support the event. Together, we are changing lives.”
Thank you to our incredible sponsors!
